The eyebrows. The flowered garlands. The jewelry. The traditional Mexican wardrobe. We can't think of a more captivating way to introduce girls to self portraits than studying the work of Frida Kahlo. During our Women in the Arts camp at Little Loft, we looked at the evolution of Frida through her emotional portraits. She was a woman to be admired, from her iconic fashion sense to her determination to express herself as a true artist.
